कौशल विकाश योजना का मुख्य उदेश्य है ऐसे जितने भी बेरोजगार युवा है जो 10वीं और 12वीं की पढाई पूरी करने के बावजूद भी बेरोजगार है उन्हें इस स्कीम के माध्यम से उद्योग-संबंधित कौशल प्रशिक्षण लेने में सक्षम बनाना है | मुफ्त में प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त करने के बाद वो अपने अनुसार किसी भी फील्ड में काम कर पैसे कामा सकते है |यहाँ आप अपने इक्षा अनुसार अलग-अलग सेक्टर की ट्रेनिंग ले सकते है जैसे यदि आप एग्रीकल्चर के फील्ड में अपना करियर बनना चाहते है तो एग्रीकल्चर से सम्बंधित ट्रेनिंग प्राप्त कर सकते है

The Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) is the flagship scheme (MSDE) of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship which has been implemented by the National Skill Development Corporation. The main objective of skill development scheme is to enable all unemployed youth who are unemployed despite completing their 10th and 12th standards to undergo industry-related skill training through this scheme| After getting free training, they can work in any field according to themselves and earn money|

Under the PMKVY, the government has opened PMKVY Center in every corner of the country where any youth can get free training by taking their enrolment |. You can get training according to your career| You can get training in various employment Sector under Pradhan Mantri Koushal Vikash Yojana| The best part about this scheme is that it is absolutely free i.e. you don’t have to pay fees for it|

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has launched pradhan mantri kaushal vikas yojana (PMKVY)) for minorities. The meeting was chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on PMJVK and approved the existing Multi-Sectoral Development Programme (Multi-sectoral development programme -MsDP) and renamed the scheme as PMJVK. This will reduce the gap between the national average and the minority community on restructured MSDP backwardness standards.
